Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left sound insulator panel.





2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
3. Remove the switch retaining bolt.
4. Remove the switch.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the switch to the parking brake lever assembly. Align pin to locator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the switch retaining bolt.
Tighten the bolt to 1.9 Nm (17 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.
4. Install the left sound insulator panel.
