86. Intake Manifold Installation - Lower

1. Install the lower intake manifold gasket.
2. Install the lower intake manifold.
3. Apply GM P/N 12345382 threadlocker or equivalent on the threads.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the lower intake manifold bolts.
- Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts in sequence to 15 Nm (111 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the EGR outlet pipe to the intake manifold.
6. Install the EGR outlet pipe bolt.
- Tighten the EGR outlet pipe bolt to 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
