Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J41712 Oil Pressure Sending Unit Socket

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure switch.
3. Remove the oil pressure switch using the J41712.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the oil pressure switch using the J41712.

Tighten
Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the oil pressure switch.
3. Lower the vehicle.
