Folding Top Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the folding top to a suitable working position.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the folding top front weatherstrip.




4. Remove the folding top front weatherstrip retainer bolts (5).
5. Remove the folding top front weatherstrip retainer (6).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the folding top front weatherstrip retainer (6).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the folding top front weatherstrip retainer bolts (5).

Tighten the bolts (5) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the folding top front weatherstrip.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
5. Raise the folding top.
