Door Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the body hinge pillar trim panel.
2. Remove the windshield side upper garnish molding (1).
3. Remove the cargo area side trim panel.
4. Remove the roof lift off window (if equipped).
5. Remove the lift window body side weatherstrip screws, if equipped.
6. Remove the side door weatherstrip retainers.
7. Remove the side door weatherstrip by pulling the weatherstrip from the flange and the weatherstrip body retainers.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the side door weatherstrip by pressing the weatherstrip into the flange and the weatherstrip body retainers.
2. Install the side door weatherstrip retainers.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the lift window body side weatherstrip screws (2), if equipped.

Tighten the lift window body side weatherstrip screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

4. Install the roof lift off window (if equipped).
5. Install the cargo area side trim panel.
6. Install the windshield side upper garnish molding.
7. Install the body hinge pillar trim panel.
