11. Exhaust Manifold Removal - Left

1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield nuts.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Important: When removing the EGR inlet tube from the left exhaust manifold, inspect the pipe for leaks during installation. Replace the EGR adapter if the pipe leaks.





3. Remove the EGR inlet pipe bolt and nuts.
4. Remove the EGR inlet pipe from the exhaust manifold.





5. Remove the engine lift hook.





6. Remove the exhaust manifold nuts.
7. Remove the exhaust manifold.
8. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.
