ABS

The ABS INOP indicator lamp is part of the antilock brake system. When the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position, the ABS INOP lamp will turn on for approximately 3 seconds. The lamp will turn off if no ABS malfunction is detected. If a malfunction is detected, the lamp will remain on.

If the ABS INOP indicator lamp comes on while driving, there is a malfunction in the antilock brake system.
