Releasing the Rear Compartment Lift Window Panel

1. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, perform one of the following operations:
^ Place the shift lever in the PARK position.
^ Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. On vehicles with a manual transmission, perform both of the following operations:
^ Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
^ Set the park brake.
3. Press the button marked with the vehicle symbol in order to perform the following operations:
^ Release the rear compartment lift Window panel
^ Activate the illuminated entry
