Bumper and Fascia Description

The following components contain an energy absorbing fascia support brace which is made of a polystyrene material:

* The front bumper fascia
* The rear bumper fascia

Each fascia support brace is positioned between the following areas:

* The vehicle
* The bumper

GM vehicle bumpers withstand collisions into fixed barriers at 8 km/h (5 mph) and sustain minimal damage. After absorbing the energy of the collision, the bumper restores to the original position.
