11. Camshaft Removal

Important: Use an appropriate holding tool in order to keep the camshaft timing gear from turning.





1. Remove the camshaft timing gear bolt.
2. Remove the camshaft timing gear.





3. In the correct sequence, remove the six bolts and the three camshaft housings from the cylinder head.
4. Remove the camshaft from the cylinder head.
