50. Water Pump Installation

1. Install the new gasket to the engine block.
2. Install the coolant pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Secure the coolant pump with mounting nuts and bolts.
Tighten the coolant pump mounting nuts and bolts to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.).
4. Install new rubber seals (1) to the coolant pump (2)
5. Install the upper generator adjusting bracket to the coolant pump (one bolt).
Tighten the upper generator mounting bracket bolt to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
