AIR Cleaner Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.




2. Remove the one bolt and the wing nut from the Air Cleaner (ACL).
3. Disconnect the PCV hose from the ACL.
4. Loosen the clamp at the air inlet snorkel.
5. Remove the ACL from the throttle body fuel injection unit.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Insert the ACL snorkel into the air inlet duct and secure with the clamp.
2. Connect the PCV hose to the ACL.
3. Install the ACL to the throttle body fuel injection unit.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Secure the ACL with the one bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the ACL bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the wing nut and hand tighten.




6. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
