Wheel Speed Sensor Jumper Harness Replacement (Rear)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the Rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear.
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector (2).
3. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable hoist. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





4. Disconnect the rear wheel speed electrical connector (2).





5. Remove three bolts retaining the jumper harness to the vehicle.
6. Remove the jumper harness (2) and the grommet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the jumper harness (2) and the grommet to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the three bolts that retain the jumper harness (2) to the vehicle.
- Tighten the jumper harness retaining bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).





3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2).
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector (2).





6. Install rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear.
7. Perform A Diagnostic System Check - ABS. Diagnostic System Check
