Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
Pressure Cycling Switch ReplacementREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
2. Remove the air cleaner. Set the air cleaner aside.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the A/C refrigerant pressure switch.
4. Remove the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) from the evaporator inlet (4) pipe.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (1) to the evaporator inlet (4) pipe.
2. Connect the electrical connector of the A/C refrigerant pressure switch.
3. Install the air cleaner to the vehicle.
4. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. Service and Repair
5. Operate the A/C system, and inspect for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing. Leak Testing
