Intermittent Operations

Intermittent wiper operation is achieved when the intermittent.controller condenser is charged and discharged. With the front wiper/washer lever in the INT position, the front wipers begin to operate at low speed. After the wiper motor makes one complete rotation, the condenser in the intermittent controller is discharged. Current flow to the wipers is cut off until the condenser is recharged. The condenser is recharged after approximately 6 seconds.

If the wash switch is engaged and the intermittent wipers are actuated, the wipers operate at low speed. The wipers continue to operate at low speed until you release the wash switch. The wipers then resume intermittent operation.
