Water Pump Description

The belt-driven water pump (2) is a centrifugal type pump.
The belt-driven water pump consists of the following components:
- An impeller
- A drive shaft
- A drive belt pulley
The water pump is mounted on the front of the transverse-mounted engine, and shares its drive belt with the generator. The impeller is supported by a completely sealed bearing. The water pump is serviced as an assembly and, therefore, cannot be disassembled.
