58. Intake Manifold Installation

1. Install the new intake manifold gasket to the cylinder head.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the intake manifold (6) with the TBI unit (8) and with the wire clamps to the cylinder head still attached. Secure the intake manifold with the two nuts and with the seven bolts.
Tighten the intake manifold mounting bolts and the nuts to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
