Hazard Lamps

The hazard fuse receives voltage at all times. When the hazard switch is pressed to the ON position, the hazard fuse applies voltage through the closed contacts to the turn relay. The turn relay is grounded through the junction block at G203. The turn relay contains a solid state timer/relay. When the hazard switch is pressed to the ON position, the solid state timer/relay receives a ground signal through the 4 turn lamps. When the timer/relay receives this signal, the voltage applies through the turn relay and the hazard switch to the 4 turn lamps along with both the left and the right turn indicators. The 4 turn lamps are all permanently grounded. The solid state timer/relay will flash the turn lamps approximately 80-90 times per minute.
