Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the throttle body from the vehicle.
2. Drain any remaining engine coolant into an appropriate container.
3. Remove the 4 screws and the IAC valve (2) from the throttle body (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install a new rubber gasket (1) onto the throttle body (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the IAC valve (2) to the throttle body (3), and secure the valve with the 4 screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 3.3 N.m (29 lb in)

3. Install the throttle body to the engine.
