REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
2. Remove the accelerator cable end from the slot (1) in the throttle lever.




3. Loosen the accelerator cable lock-nut (1).
4. Slide the accelerator cable (3) Out of the accelerator cable bracket.
5. Disconnect the throttle valve cable from the transmission.




6. Disconnect the cable stop (1) from the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
7. Release and push the cable assembly through the bulkhead opening.
8. Remove the throttle valve cable assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the throttle valve cable assembly through the bulkhead opening.
2. Connect the cable stop (1) to the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
3. Connect the throttle valve cable to the transmission.




4. Insert the accelerator cable (3) into the accelerator cable bracket.
5. Secure the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket by tightening the accelerator cable lock-nut (1).




6. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
7. Insert the accelerator cable end into the slot (1) in the throttle lever.
8. Adjust the accelerator cable free-play. Refer to Accelerator Cable Adjustment.
