REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
2. Remove the accelerator cable end from the slot (1) in the throttle lever.




3. Loosen the accelerator cable lock-nut (1).
4. Slide the accelerator cable (3) out of the accelerator cable bracket.




5. Disconnect the accelerator cable (1) from the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
6. Release the accelerator cable, and push the cable through the bulkhead opening.
7. Remove the accelerator cable.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the accelerator cable through the bulkhead opening.
2. Connect the accelerator cable (1) to the accelerator pedal assembly (2).




3. Insert the accelerator cable (3) into the accelerator cable bracket.
4. Secure the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket by tightening the accelerator cable lock-nut (1).




5. Rotate the throttle lever to the wide open throttle position.
6. Insert the accelerator cable end into the slot (1) in the throttle lever.
7. Adjust the accelerator cable free-play. Refer to Accelerator Cable Adjustment.
