31. Forward Clutch and 2nd Brake Accumulators Assemble

- Tools Required
- J 36850 Transjel(R) Transmission Assembly Lubricant





1. Inspect the following items:
- The accumulator pistons (741, 743), for cracks, porosity or other damage
- The accumulator case bores for pitting, scars or other damage

IMPORTANT: Lubricate all parts with J 36850.

2. Install new accumulator seals (745, 746) on the pistons (741, 743).
3. Install the forward clutch accumulator spring (742) and the second brake accumulator spring (744) in their respective pistons.





4. Install the forward clutch accumulator piston (741) and the second brake accumulator piston (743) into their respective case bores.
