Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Run the engine at normal idle with the transaxle in the neutral position and the clutch in the disengaged position.
2. Engage the clutch. Then wait approximately 9 seconds before shifting the transaxle into the reverse position.
3. Verify the clutch for disengagement if a grinding noise is heard.
