Washer Operation

Whenever the ignition switch is in the ON position or the START position, battery voltage flows through the WIPER fuse to the following components:
^ The front wiper/washer switch
^ The front wiper motor

When the front wiper/washer switch is pulled back (closed), battery voltage is applied to the front washer pump. The front washer pump is permanently grounded at G102 and operates as long as the front wiper/washer switch is held back. The windshield wipers also operate at LOW speed as long as the front wiper/washer switch is held back.
