61. Oil Pan Installation

1. Inspect the oil pan gasket for damage, replace as necessary. The oil pan gasket is reusable.
2. Install the oil pan gasket.
3. Install the oil pan.





4. Install the oil pan bolts and hand tighten.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Tighten the oil pan bolts.
^ Tighten the (M8 X 1.25 X 80) (1) to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the (M8 X 1.25 X 22) (2) to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the (M6 X 1.00 X 25) (3) to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
^ Tighten the (4) to 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
