Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed in the air induction flex tube. Care must be taken to avoid damage when handling an IAT sensor.




1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor connector.




3. Carefully remove the IAT sensor by twisting and pulling the sensor from the air cleaner outlet duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IAT sensor by pushing and twisting the sensor into the air cleaner outlet duct.




2. Reconnect the IAT sensor connector.
