Playing A Compact Disc (CD)

Insert a disc partially into the slot with the label side up. The player will pull it in. With the ignition and the radio are both ON, the disc will begin playing. Press EJECT or RCL (UPO) in order to insert a disc when the ignition is OFF.

The integral CD player can play 8 cm single mini-discs. The full-size compact discs and mini discs are loaded in the same manner.

If driving on a rough road or the temperature is very hot the disc may not play and an E (error) and a number may appear on the radio display. If the disc is ejected:
^ The disc is upside down
^ The disc is dirty, scratched or wet
^ The air is very humid. Wait approximately an hour and try again.
