Body Front End Description

General Description

The vehicle body are of unitized construction. The inner fender panels and the radiator support are also an integral part of the body.

Lubrication

Lubricate the following components using Lubriplate, GM P/N 1052196 or the equivalent:

* The primary hood latch
* The secondary hood latch
* The hood hinges

Anti-Corrosion Protection

Anti-corrosion materials have been applied to the surfaces of the metal panels in order to provide rust resistance. When servicing these panels, properly re-coat the areas on this material that have been disturbed using a service-type anti-corrosion material. Refer to Paint and Coatings.
