Door Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Remove the front door speaker.
4. Remove the front door inside handle bezel.
5. Disconnect the front door electrical connectors from all related components, if equipped.
6. Remove the wiring harness from the door.
7. Remove the door check link.
8. Support the door.
9. Remove the upper and lower hinge connecting bolts.
10. Lift the door assembly upward in order to separate the hinge.
11. Remove the hinge from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the hinge to the door.
2. Align the two sections of the upper and lower hinges in order to install the hinge connecting bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the upper and lower hinge connecting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Carefully close the door.
5. Inspect the door for proper alignment.
6. Open the door slowly in order to check for proper operation.
7. Install the front door electrical connectors to all related components, if equipped.
8. Install the front door check link.
9. Install the front door inside handle.
10. Install the front door speaker.
11. Install the front door water deflector.
12. Install the front door trim panel.
