Rear Compartment Lid Overslam Bumper Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear compartment lid outer bumper (1).
Unscrew counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid side bumper (3).
Unscrew counter-clockwise.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear compartment lid side bumper (3).
2. Install the rear compartment lid inner panel drain hole plug (2).
3. Install the rear compartment lid outer bumper (1).
4. Use the following steps in order to adjust the rear compartment lid torque:

* Rotate the bumper until the lid is flush with the rear quarter.
* Do not increase the rear compartment lid closing effort.
