Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to pry the molding (2) outward. Apply inboard pressure to the upper retaining clip (1).
2. Apply outboard pressure to the lower retaining clip (1).
3. Rotate the molding (2) rearward in order to disengage the tabs (3).
4. Remove the molding (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the molding (2).
2. Rotate the molding (2) forward in order to engage the tabs (3).
3. Apply inboard pressure to the lower retaining clip (1).
4. Apply inboard pressure to the upper retaining clip (1).
5. Ensure that the retainers are locked into place.
