Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear split folding seat back.




2. Remove the pivot bolt from the rear seat back.




3. Release the hook and loop retainer at the lower rear seat back.




4. Pull back the rear seat cover to access the staples.
5. Remove the staples from the rear seat cover.




6. Remove the rear seat cover from the rear seat back frame by pulling down and release the hook and loop retainers as you pull off the cover.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear seat cover to the rear seat back frame by pulling down over the seat back.
2. Position the hook and loop retainers as you pull on the cover and press into place with firm hand pressure.




3. Pull back the rear seat cover.
4. Install new staples to the rear seat cover.




5. Attach the hook and loop retainer at the lower rear seat back.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

6. Install the pivot bolt to the rear seat back.

Tighten the rear seat back pivot bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

7. Install the rear split folding seat back.
