Rear Seat Back Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.




2. Remove the bolts (1) from the lower rear seat back U-brackets.




3. Remove the rear seat back by lifting up and disengaging the T-hooks from the access holes in the rear shelf panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Pull the shoulder belts away from the seat back area.
2. Position rear seat back and engage the T-hooks into the access holes in the rear shelf panel.
3. Pull forward on the top edge of the seat back along the shelf panel in order to ensure that all 4 attaching T-hooks are properly aligned.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the bolts (1) into the lower rear seat back U-brackets.

Tighten the rear seat back bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

5. Install the rear seat cushion.
