Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to release the locking mechanism on the right rear seat back (1) arm at the pivot bracket.
3. Lift up the right rear seat back and disconnect the seat back from the pivot bracket.




4. Slide the right rear seat back towards the center of the vehicle in order to disconnect the outboard pivot pin from the wheelhouse bracket.
5. Remove the right rear seat back from the vehicle.
6. Lift up the left rear seat back. Disconnect the seat back inboard pivot pin from the pivot bracket.
7. Slide the left rear seat back towards the center of the vehicle in order to disconnect the outboard pivot pin from the wheelhouse bracket.
8. Remove the left rear seat back from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left rear seat back (2) into the vehicle. Align and insert the outboard pivot pin into the wheelhouse bracket.
2. Align and insert the inboard pivot pin on the left rear seat back into the center pivot bracket (3).




3. Install the right rear seat back (1) into the vehicle. Align and insert the outboard pivot pin into the wheelhouse bracket.
4. Position the inboard pivot arm on the right rear seat back to the inboard pivot pin on the left rear seat back. Press the arm of the right rear seat back in order to secure the seat back.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
