Front Seat Cushion Frame Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bucket seat.

Important: Remove the front seat cushion cover and the cushion as one piece.

2. Remove the front seat cushion cover from the front seat cushion.




3. Disconnect the seat back recliner mechanisms cable from the front seat cushion frame.
4. Remove the lumbar mechanisms from the front the front seat frame.
5. Remove the power seat switch from the front seat frame.




6. Remove the bolts from the front seat back recliner mechanisms.
7. Remove the front seat back recliner mechanisms from the front seat frame.
8. Remove the front seat adjuster from the front seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front seat adjuster to the front seat cushion frame.
2. Install the front seat back recliner mechanisms to the front seat frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolts to the front seat back recliner mechanisms.

Tighten the front seat back recliner mechanisms bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the power seat switch to the front seat frame.
5. Install the lumbar mechanisms to the front the front seat frame.




6. Connect the seat back recliner mechanisms cable to the front seat cushion frame.

Important: Install the front seat cushion cover and the cushion as one piece.

7. Install the front seat cushion cover to the front seat cushion.
8. Install the front bucket seat.
