Seat Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the seat adjuster covers (2), if equipped. The covers snap onto the seat adjusters in the front and rear.




2. Position the front seat assembly forward in order to gain access to the seat adjuster attaching bolts.
3. Remove the seat adjuster attaching bolts.




4. Remove the seat belt wire harness (driver's side only).
5. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector, if equipped (driver's side only).




6. Remove the front seat. Manually tilt the seat forward in order to disengage the hooks from the floor pan.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front seat. Manually tilt the seat forward in order to engage the hooks onto the floor pan.
2. Connect the power seat electrical connector, if equipped (driver's side only).




3. Install the seat belt wire harness (driver's side only).




4. Position the front seat assembly forward in order to gain access to the seat adjuster attaching bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the seat adjuster bolts.

Tighten the seat adjuster bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).




6. Install the adjuster covers (2), if equipped.
