Brake Hose Inspection

^ Inspect the flexible hydraulic brake hoses at least twice a year. The hydraulic brake hoses transmit hydraulic pressure to the calipers from the steel brake lines on the body.
^ Inspect the brake hoses (1) for the following conditions:
- Road hazard damage
- Cracks
- Chafing of the outer cover
- Leaks
- Blisters
- Proper routing and mounting
Adequate inspection may require a light and a mirror.
