Repair Instructions

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove lower backup light retaining nuts.
2. Remove lower backup light assembly.
3. Push lower backup light assembly outward from rear fascia.




4. Remove the socket. Twist socket and pull outward.
5. Remove the bulb. Pull outward on bulb to remove.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bulb. Push the bulb inward until the unit is retained.
2. Install the socket.
Push the socket inward and twist until the unit is retained.
3. Install the lower backup light to the rear fascia.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




4. Install the lower backup light retaining nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the lower backup light retaining nuts to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
