Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right headlamp assembly in order to gain access to the horn.
2. Remove the horn retaining nut (3) from the front impact bar.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the horn

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the retaining nut (3) to the front impact bar.

Tighten
Tighten the retaining nut to 2.5 N.m (52 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the horn.
3. Install the right headlamp assembly. Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
