Floor Shift Control Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the automatic transmission control lever handle.
3. Remove the console. Refer to Cupholder Replacement - Front Floor Console in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.





4. Remove the range select lever cable from the automatic transmission shift control.
5. Remove the electrical connector.





6. Remove the automatic transmission control bolts.
7. Remove the automatic transmission shift control.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the automatic transmission shift control.
2. Install the automatic transmission shift control bolts.
3. Install the electrical connector.





4. Install the range select lever cable to the automatic transmission control.
5. Install the console. Refer to Cupholder Replacement - Front Floor Console in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.





6. Install the automatic transmission control lever handle.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
