Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD) Circuit

INPUTS-THEFT DETERRENT MODULE
- B+: Battery positive voltage feed for system operation.
- IGN1: Determines ignition switch status.
- GND: Ground feed for system operation.

OUTPUTS-THEFT DETERRENT MODULE
- Fuel Enable Signal: Interface with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) for sending discreet requests for engine fuel enable/disable.
- SECURITY Indicator Control: Direct ground control of the SECURITY indicator located in the Instrument Panel cluster.
- Serial Data (Bi-Directional): Transfer of diagnostic information to/from a scan tool connected to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
