Door Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear door inner energy absorber pad.
3. Remove the rear door water deflector.
4. Remove the rear door outer energy absorber pad.
5. Remove the rear door inner window sealing strip.
6. Remove the rear door stationary window molding.
7. Remove the rear door frame applique.
8. Remove the rear door window.
9. Remove the rear door outside door handle.
10. Remove the rear door inside door handle.
11. Remove the rear door lock.
12. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip.
13. Remove the rear door window regulator.
14. Disconnect the wiring harness.
15. Remove the rear door bottom auxiliary sealing strip.
16. Remove the rear door rubber conduit.
17. Remove the rear door side molding.
18. Remove the rear door lower finish panel.
19. Support the rear door.
20. Remove the intermediate rear door hinge bolts.
21. Remove the rear door, with an assistant.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear door, with an assistant.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the intermediate rear door hinge bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the intermediate rear door hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

3. Remove the rear door support.
4. Install the rear door rubber conduit.
5. Install the rear door bottom auxiliary sealing strip.
6. Connect the wiring harness.
7. Install the rear door window regulator.
8. Install the rear door window weatherstrip.
9. Install the rear door lock.
10. Install the rear door inside door handle.
11. Install the rear door outside door handle.
12. Install the rear door window.
13. Install the rear door frame applique.
14. Install the rear door stationary window molding.
15. Install the rear door window belt sealing strip.
16. Install the rear door outer energy absorber pad.
17. Install the rear door inner energy absorber pad.
18. Install the rear door water deflector.
19. Install the rear door trim panel.
20. Adjust the rear door. Refer to Door Adjustment - Rear.
21. Install the rear door side molding.
22. Install the rear door lower finish panel.
