Instrument Panel Storage Compartment - Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP)
2. Open the IP compartment.




3. Press inward on both sides of the IP compartment housing and rotate down and out in order to remove the housing from the IP.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the Instrument Panel (IP) compartment housing with the IP.
2. Press inward on both sides of the IP compartment housing and rotate upward and inward in order to install the housing into the IP.




3. Hand tighten the IP compartment hinge screws.
4. Align the IP compartment housing in the IP in order to ensure the proper fit.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the IP compartment hinge screws.

Tighten
Tighten the IP compartment hinge screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Close the IP compartment. compartment hinge screws.
