Front Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the front door inner energy absorber pad (coupe). Refer to Front Side Door Inner Panel Lower Energy Absorber Replacement (Coupe).
4. Remove the front door inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the window to regulator bolts (2).




6. Remove the front door window from the front door.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front door window between the inner and the outer panels.
2. Point the lower front corner of the front door window down.
3. Pass the front door window through the belt opening.
Align the edges with the door window weatherstrip.
4. Turn the front door window to the horizontal position.
Align the holes in the front door window with the holes in the front door window regulator.
5. Ensure that both sealing lips on the front door outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downward.
If this condition is present, the front door window will not raise properly.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

6. Install the bolts to the front door window regulator (2) (forward bolt first).

Tighten the front door window regulator bolt (2) to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

7. Install the bolt to the front door window regulator (2) (Install the rearward bolt second).

Tighten the front door window regulator bolt (2) to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

8. Install the front door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
9. Install the front door inner energy absorber pad. Refer to Front Side Door Inner Panel Lower Energy Absorber Replacement (Coupe).
10. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
11. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
