Door Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the front door water deflector.
3. Remove the front door energy absorber pad (coupe only).
4. Remove the front door speaker.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip.
7. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.
8. Remove the front door window.
9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip.
10. Remove the front door window regulator.
11. Remove the front door outside door handle.
12. Remove the front door inside handle.
13. Remove the front door lock.
14. Remove the front door bottom auxiliary sealing strip.
15. Remove the front door side molding.
16. Remove the front door lower finish panel.
17. Remove the front door rubber conduit.
18. Support the front door.
19. Remove the intermediate front door hinge bolts.
20. Remove the front door, with an assistant.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the intermediate front door hinge bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the front door hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

2. Remove the front door support.
3. Install the front door rubber conduit.
4. Install the front door bottom auxiliary sealing strip.
5. Install the front door lock.
6. Install the front door inside handle.
7. Install the front door outside door handle.
8. Install the front door window regulator.
9. Install the front door window weatherstrip.
10. Install the front door window.
11. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip.
12. Install the front door window inner sealing strip.
13. Connect the electrical connectors.
14. Install the front door speaker.
15. Install the front door energy absorber pad (coupe only).
16. Install the front door water deflector.
17. Install the front door trim panel.
18. Adjust the front door.
19. Install the front door lower finish panel.
20. Install the front door side moldings.
