Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Position the transaxle selector in the (1) low range.
3. Raise the front floor console armrest.
4. Remove the front floor console storage compartment from the front floor console.
5. Remove the front floor console storage compartment mat from the front floor console storage compartment.
6. Open the front floor console cup holder.




7. Remove the front floor console trim plate, starting at the rear and pulling up, working forward to release the retainers.
8. Remove the front floor console trim plate from the front floor console.




9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the driver's seat heater switch, if equipped.
10. Remove the front floor console trim plate from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the driver's seat heater switch, if equipped.




3. Install the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console pressing down firmly until fully seated.
4. Reposition the transaxle selector into park.
5. Close the front floor console cup holder.
6. Install the front floor console storage compartment to the front floor console.
7. Lower the front floor console armrest.




8. Install the front floor console storage compartment mat to the front floor console storage compartment.
9. Connect the battery negative cable.
