Courtesy Lamp Replacement - Overhead Console

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the overhead console lamp bezel using a small flat-bladed tool, to release the two rear retaining tabs.




2. Lower the rear edge of the bezel releasing the forward locating tab.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the overhead console lamp.




4. Remove the screws from the overhead console lamp housing to the lamp bezel.




5. Remove the bezel and the lens from the overhead console lamp housing.




6. Remove the bulb(s) from the socket(s) using a small flat-bladed tool.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bulb(s) to the overhead console lamp socket(s).




2. Position the lamp lens and the bezel to the overhead console lamp housing.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the screws to the overhead console lamp housing.

Tighten
Tighten the overhead console lamp housing to lamp bezel screws to 11 N.m (97 lb in).




4. Connect the electrical connector to the overhead console lamp.




5. Position the forward locating tab of the overhead console lamp bezel to the overhead console.




6. Position the two rear retaining tabs to the overhead console.
7. Install the overhead console lamp bezel pressing the bezel into place until fully seated.
