Headlamp Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURENOTE: When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the bolts retaining the headlamp to the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement.
3. Slide the headlamp outboard just enough to release the headlamp bracket tabs from the slots (1) on the upper fascia support and tender reinforcement.
4. Reposition the headlamp away from the vehicle body in order to access the electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp.
6. Remove the headlamp.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp bulb.
8. Remove the headlamp bulb retainer ring from the headlamp, turning counterclockwise.
CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.
9. Remove the headlamp bulb from the headlamp.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Install the headlamp bulb to the headlamp.
2. Install the headlamp bulb retainer ring to the headlamp, turning clockwise.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp bulb.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp.
5. Position the headlamp to the vehicle body, just outboard of the installed position.
6. Align the headlamp bracket tabs to the slots (1) on the upper fascia support and fender reinforcement, then slide the headlamp inboard to engage and secure the tabs.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
7. Install the headlamp bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the headlamp bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
8. Check the headlamp aim and adjust as necessary.

^ To check the aim of the headlamps using the mechanical method, refer to Headlamp Aiming (Screen Method) or Headlamp Aiming (Mechanical Method)
9. Remove any protective tape applied during the removal procedure.
10. Close the hood.
