Pre-Alarm State

If any of the doors or the trunk lid are opened without a valid unlock signal from the keyless entry transmitter, the CTD system will enter the pre-alarm state for 10 seconds. The BCM will request the security indicators to remain on and the horn to chirp for those 10 seconds. The BCM will then request the security indicators to flash slowly. Pressing any of the keyless entry transmitter buttons or starting the vehicle with a valid PASSLOCK key within that 10 second time period will disarm the CTD alarm.
