Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Replacement (Standard)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the compartment lid assembly.
2. Remove the compartment lid torque rods.
3. Remove the rear panel window trim.




4. Remove the compartment lid hinge bolts (3).
5. Remove the compartment lid hinge (4).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the compartment lid hinge (4).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the hinge bolts (3) to the rear window panel.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear panel window trim.
4. Install the compartment lid torque rods.
5. Install the compartment lid assembly.
6. Adjust the compartment lid. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment.
